Runity x ROCKrunners: How to run pain-free
Running is one of the most natural movements we can do, yet injury rates are through the roof with the majority of runners having an injury that affects their training in some way every year. Sometimes these injuries put people off running altogether.
So if our bodies are built to run, why do we get injured so much? The simple answer is - poor running efficiency and loading of the tissues (muscles, joints etc). With proper conditioning and an efficient running technique however, your body not only copes with the strain, but also improves your running speed and endurance.
Conducted by Daniel Dittmar, Asia's first Runity master trainer, this workshop will give you an overview of the theory why we get injured and the different elements of our running technique that can be changed with some simple strategies. There will also be a practical movement session with exercises and drills to improve your running performance and get you running pain free.
