"I was browsing through Instagram and came across Cheryl's pic and I realised what a sunshine girl she is, so I continued to browse her profile. That's how I came to know about how she started Rock The Naked Truth.
From Cheryl's profile, I found out how much she went through to become who she is today. Everyone has their ups and down, but as long as you don't give up, you will become what you want to be.
Staying fit has always been my long term goal, but I always give up halfway. After knowing Cheryl, I see her as my role model to stay fit and healthy, and I learnt to love myself even more.
I am quite an introverted person and I often hide in the shadows. I've always wanted to join Cheryl's sessions but I was to shy to.
Then one day my exercise buddy Cynthia (right in photo) encouraged me to join @rockrunnerssg. I was filled with anticipation and nerves because this is the first time I'm meeting my idol.
The session was amazing and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. I never knew that I would meet so many people with the same goals. Everyone has their own story but we come together weekly to motivate one another.
I always look forward to our weekly ROCKrunners sessions on Saturday and also other ROCKevents because everyone is just so fun and loving. We support each other, regardless of who we are, where we come from; regardless of shape and size, races or religion.
